Can you use your own domain with the WordPress free plan?

  Hi, I already own a domain with 1&1 and I’d like to forward it to my WordPress site (so when you search the domain online and press enter, it goes to my WordPress site) but I have the free WordPress plan. Is this possible, or is it only on paid plans that you can do this? Thanks!

  Yes, you’ll need a Personal plan or higher to map that domain to a WordPress.com site.
