Can you xfer images between the media libraries of two different blogs?

  I have many images in the media library of one of my blogs. I have created a new blog (on WordPress) and would like to transfer some if not all of the pictures from the older blog to the newer one.

  Can this be done? How?

  You can transfer all of your content, including images, following this guide: http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#moving-between-wordpress-com-blogs

  Unfortunately, this is an all or nothing thing. The only other alternative would be to manually upload each photo.
