Can your site be moved to a different host in the future?

  If we build a site on WordPress.com and down the road what/need to move to a new host for some reason, is that possible?

  Hi there,

  You can move your site’s content (not the full site, but any and all content you add to it), to another host or platform whenever you want, via a WordPress export file:

  Export Your Website’s Content

  And if you register a domain with us, you can also point that to another host at any time, or transfer it away completely as long as it’s not subject to a 60-day transfer lock at the time.
