Canape Theme – Featured Menus on the Front Page link to 404 (page not found)

  Canape offers a block, called Featured Menus, on its Front Page (Customize->Theme Options->Front Page->Featured Menu Sections). After activating these Featured Menus, the theme displays 1-3 banners/images on the Front Page that open a page with a Menu Section and its Items. Unfortunately, this feature suddenly stopped working and all the …/menu/… links leads to a 404 page (page not found). These are the links to two Featured Menus on our website that used to work, but don’t work anymore:

  How can I solve this problem and keep using Featured Menus on the Front (Home) Page?
