Canard: One blog entry's picture won't show up in widget side bar – Help
-
Hey,
so if you take a look at the widget sidebar on the right of my website, you’ll see, currently, 4 square-shaped pictures that belong to corresponding blog entries. However, one of my blog entries that *should* also be shown their, isn’t showing up as a square picture. It’s this one:
https://esekai.wordpress.com/2017/08/09/bald-fuer-switch-und-ps4-september-2017-releases/In contrast, this article, that I believe to have put online in the exact same way, *is* showing up:
https://esekai.wordpress.com/2017/08/09/anime-auf-blu-ray-082017/So … what do I do wrong?
I’ve set the square image-widget so that up to 10 pictures show up, so that cannot be the problem.Any help is appreciated :)
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
The only image link in the sidebar widget area of the site https://esekai.wordpress.com/ that I see links to this post: https://esekai.wordpress.com/2017/08/09/demo-zu-monster-hunter-xx-im-japanischen-eshop/, not to either of the other two that you mention. What type of widget are you using? Text widget or Image widget?
-
I´m using the widget “Top Blog entries & pages”.
This is what it looks like for me: http://imgur.com/28rXLLM (the new Zelda-article has its square picture. The above linked game releases-article still not. It´s weird, isn´t it.
-
Wait. the game release-article HAS its picture now.
Is it maybe click-related? That a blog-entry has to have gotten a certain number of clicks and then shows up as a square picture in the sidebar widget? Would explain it, because obviously by making this thread, some people clicked it. Hm.

An image link to that post is also clearly visible in the screenshot that you provided, http://imgur.com/28rXLLM.
The content of the posts, pages, and images that display in that widget will change according to daily traffic fluctuation, and also depend upon the settings in the widget as well. See the Top Posts & Pages Widget support page for more information. However, the image representing the widget editor is missing the “Types of pages to display” setting options, which include posts, pages, media, testimonials, and projects.

Correction:
Remove “content of the” from the first sentence of the second paragraph above. -
