Canard Theme

  Hi everyone, I have had my blog for a few months and just changed my theme to Canard, but now can’t seem to put a tagline under my title. Is this just because of the theme or can I format it in some way to allow me to put my tagline under the title again? Thanks! (wordndwhimsy.wordpress.com)

  Not every theme is designed to display a Tagline. I checked the live demo site and see if one is displaying there and there isn’t one. https://canarddemo.wordpress.com/
  https://wordpress.com/themes/canard/

  If you want one yo display then you will have to change themes.

  P.S. Another alternative is to create a custom header image and place the site tite and tagline text on it prior to uploading it.

  As timethief mentioned, Canard is not designed to display a tagline on the front end. Since it’s still output in the HTML code, it’s possible to display it with this custom CSS:

  .site-description {
    display: inherit;
  }

  Custom CSS is available with the Premium or Business plans.
