Okay, thanks for all of the information and help narrowing down what’s going on. I’m going to report all of it so we can look into a fix. I’ll reply here again with updates when I have them. :)

In the meantime, if you’d like to avoid having to do the Customize trick, posting from wp-admin should continue to work as expected: https://vgrv1.wordpress.com/wp-admin/

@flaznar — Are you able to get your posts to appear in the featured area after tagging them by opening Customize to force the update/refresh?

No, I cannot ever see the grid of featured content. I have tagged five posts with the “featured” tag and no matter ho I view the page I cannot see it.

Okay, make sure you have your “featured” tag added in Customize > Featured Content in the Tag Name box.

Hello. I have the same problem. I tagged more than 5 of my post as “featured”, assigned category , checked “Display tag content in all listings”, and checked Front Page displalys “Your latest post”. The 5 featured posts are not showing in the grid, even in customized mode.This is my sweetnspicysite.wordpress.com. I hope you can help me. I really like this theme and I do not want to find another one.

Hi Kathryn,
Thank you for reaching out. I was able to figure it out and have it running. It’s working now, I love this theme! There is another thing I am working on , hopefully ukincould help me. In the demo, I’m a single post , I saw 3 images showing in different areas in the post. How do I do that? I have a post “Pinwheel Cookies” which I added slideshow. Can I still add images or photo anywhere in the body of my post? Like at the end o my recipe or middle page?
