Canard Theme – Featured Images won’t show with Safari

  I’m using the Canard Theme and I noticed my featured images are not loading in Safari browser, they just show up as black boxes. Does any one have advice? My site is https://mappedbymegan.wordpress.com. Thanks!

  Hello @megandefeo8265,

  I used a Safari browser myself to view your site to see the issue mentioned by you in the above post. It loads perfectly for me and I am able to see your featured images. Please see the screenshot to confirm my statement:

  However, in the beginning while the site is loading there seems to be a split second lag that shows up black boxes. But as soon as the site loaded, I could view all the featured images without any disparity. Refreshing your page should hopefully do the trick.

  Thank you for testing it, @mywritingmuscle! That’s good to hear it’s working on desktop but, it appears to still still not be working for me on mobile. Any ideas?

  You are welcome. I tried viewing your site through Safari Mobile as well and it appears to be loading absolutely fine. I can view all the featured images clearly.

  I suggest you try clearing your cache and cookies and trying to view your site on incognito/private window. If these options work, the problem your facing should soon resolve on its own.
