Canard theme Home page setup

Hello,
It seems I have some trouble to custom set up a homepage on Free Canard theme to look like It is displayed on a theme overview photo. I made and published some articles, but instead that theme displays and visually sorts the home page like in the theme preview, It just sorts them as a list of articles published , and not in the visual environment that is on the promotional photo of themes out look capabilities. I have tried every customizing option combination but it will just not give me what It should. If anyone have experience with this theme every help is appreciated . Thank You.

How do you exactly want your homepage to look? It looks very much like the theme’s demo.
If you are referring to the posts below, then in order for them to look different (instead of text over image), you can use different Post formats,
