Canard Theme Issues for WordPress Beginner

  Hey all, I am using Canard Theme and I like the general layout of the theme but I’d like to make some changes and can’t see how I can do it. My site is gonzostu.com.

  I’d like to change the background colour and if possible have the content areas a different colour so that they stand out. Also if possible I’d like to widen the sidebar. My widgets look tiny ( what a sentence!)

  Finally me featured images look fine on the homepage but terrible in the actual post, I don’t know the optimum size.

  Any help would be ridiculously welcome!!!
