Canard theme: top page displays not only titles but all texts
-
Hi,
I am using Canard theme and I have a question.
When I add posts, the top page shows not only titles, but also all texts. And it shows up collapsed, so it looks really weird.
In the Canard theme page, the top page only shows the top few sentences of the posts, not all sentences… Do you know how I can change my website like that?
FYI, my page is

Hi there,
Could you give us the link for the “top page” you are referring to? With that, I might be able to tell you exactly what to change to accomplish this.
Here are some things that may help:
1. Create an “Excerpt” for your blog posts. This can be added from the sidebar on the left of the “beep beep boop” editor (it’s a ways down just after the sharing settings). In the classic editor, you may need to select the “screen settings” tab in the top right and be sure that “Excerpt” is checked.2. Sometimes different page templates will affect how things appear. Try the different options and use the one you like the best. In classic view, edit the page and there will be the option to select the page template on the right sidebar under “Page Attributes”.
Let me know if you have any questions on this or if that doesn’t work.
Kind regards,
Jason -
