Cancaling a domain or transfer

  I want to move my domain to godaddy that I bought on WordPress. If I cancel the purchase and ask for a refund will the domain become available to purchase elsewhere? Or am I able to transfer the registration?

  Howdy,

  Looking at your domain (davidspurlock.com) is already with GoDaddy. For your other recently purchased domain, topeastvalley.com, we suggest that you transfer it rather than canceling.

  Canceling a domain should only be done when you have no intention of using it. With a newly-purchased domain, the rules governing all domain purchases require that a domain exists for 60 days before a transferred is allowed, though.
