Cancel => 2 refund requests

    I would like to cancel the following two refund requests.

    1. WordPress.com Creator => -US$286
    2. .life Domain => -US$3.19

    The reason is that I don’t know much about WordPress, so after applying for a refund, it didn’t work out as I wanted.

    I plan to reuse the “Creator Plan” and “mxlotus.life” domains with the amount I previously paid.

    I cannot find ‘cancel’ button as you guided.

    WP.com: Yes
    Jetpack: No
    Correct account: Yes

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hey there, can you clarify this?

    after applying for a refund, it didn’t work out as I wanted.

    Please let us know what you had in mind with that, or what you’d like to do now.

    The cancel button is gone for now because you have already cancelled, and the refunds can’t be stopped at this point, but if you’d like to purchase again you may.

    Every cancelled domain will go into holding for a bit. To host your site here after all and use that domain, buy an annual plan, skip the domain option, then update us here so we can recover the domain. Or, you can wait a few days for it to be released, then purchase it again.

    Thanks for your reply.
    WordPress’s AI told me to look for the Cancel button, but I think this was wrong. I will refer to your answer.
    I understand that it is difficult to cancel a refund request that has already been requested.

    Below is the problem I ran into.

    1. I was originally using the “Creator” plan, and there were 5 months left until expiration.
    2. I upgraded from “Explorer” to “Creator” today.
    3. Afterwards, I discovered that I couldn’t get a free domain from “Creator”, so I canceled the “Creator” plan.
    4. However, after canceling “Creator”, it returned to the “Free” plan.
    5. Shouldn’t the fees for the remaining 5 months of “Explorer” also be refunded??
  • Oh, got it. I’ve added your Explorer plan back for you.

    You got a refund for the new domain you bought. Would you like me to send an invoice for that so you can restore it?

    Also, you canceled the domain you bought with your plan credit some time ago, and it’s now in redemption now unfortunately. If you want that domain back we’ll need to work through a process and set up an invoice for redemption fees, so let us know if you want to restore it.

    I checked that the plan had returned to “Explorer plan”. Now it works.
    Thanks a lot.

    I plan to purchase new domain again.
    For your information. Thank you.

  • Glad it’s all sorted. Cheers!
