Cancel a domain name

  Hello, I want to cancel a domain name to be able to move to wordpress.org.
  I know there are many ways to transfer a domain name, but I would prefer to cancel the domain name I have. So please do not send me to the many links that explain how to transfer a domain name.
  Please just cancel my order.

  Hi,

  I can cancel the domain for you, though it is past the 48-hour window required for a refund (since we only have a short window before we’re required to pay for the domain without the ability to be refunded ourselves).

  If the domain is cancelled, it can take several weeks or months before the domain is returned to the marketplace. if you’d like to use the domain name with a WordPress.org-hosted site, I would strongly encourage you to not cancel the domain, but change the nameservers to your new host instead.

  For a new domain name, in either case, it cannot be transferred to a different registrar for 60 days, so we can either cancel it outright or change the nameservers to “point” it to the new hosting provider.

  If you would you still like to cancel it, please reply back to confirm that you understand that the name will not be available for re-purchase for sometime and that it is too late to have it refunded.
