Cancel a tumblr import?

    It’s taking too long to import my main tumblr (lovingdread.tumblr.com) so I would like to cancel it and import some sideblogs with fewer posts instead. Is there a way to stop the process? I disconnected from tumblr then reconnected but it was still importing. Thank you

    Hi lovingdread,

    It appears the import on your site has now failed. I’ve reset the importer so you can try again with the same Tumblr blog or a sideblog.

    If it seems to take a while, please be patient and don’t try cancelling the process yourself – we’re still experiencing a high volume of imports from Tumblr at the moment causing a backlog of pending imports in our system. The imports are being run in the order they are submitted but I’m unable to say how long it will take.

    If some posts have already imported they will be skipped by the importer during your next attempt, so they should not be duplicated.
