  I am being charged for an account that I haven’t used in over a year.. I want to account closed and payments stopped immediately.

  Hi there. You can turn off automatic renewal for your domain name or plan by choosing the option to cancel on the Purchase page. If your domain name or plan is outside of the refund window then it will stay active until its expiration date and you will not be automatically charged for its renewal.
