    How can I cancel my account and start over? I started a blog and meant to start a web page. Now my URL is locked with the blog.

    Hi there,

    You don’t need to cancel your account to start over. To change the layout of your site you can set up a static front page as your home page, instead of your blog. To do that go Customizing and click on Static Front Page.

    You can also choose a different theme: https://wordpress.com/themes/

    If you want to start over, and get rid of your content as well, you can do so by going to Settings and click on Start Over. You’ll find all the steps to do that.
