  Hello I am trying to cancel my account as I do not wish to renew. I go to the purchases section as instructed but cannot seem to find how to cancel. Could you help please.

  Make sure you are logged into the same WordPress.com account as the one you purchased your WordPress.com plan with and visit Manage purchases section. You should be able to cancel your WordPress.com plan there.

  Or, did you mean you want to cancel (delete) your WordPress.com account?

  WordPress.com accounts cannot be deleted permanently once created.

  But if you still wish to deactivate your account and leave WordPress, you can follow the instructions given here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/deleting-accounts/

  I don’t see any active upgrade under the account you’re using to post to this thread. If you have purchased an upgrade with another WordPress.com account, please log-in into that account and post to this thread so I can help you cancel your upgrades.
