Cancel account and refund subscription

    I don’t recall when I signed up for this and have not used it. Is there a way to get a refund from my December payment before I cancel my account? I’m not even sure what WordPress is. I’m not an IT person.

    If that charge is coming from wordpress.com, you can check it at https://wpchrg.wordpress.com/. On the same page you find a contact form to contact the Billing Team to request a refund.

    Hi there,

    The WordPress.com account you’re using to post here doesn’t own any sites and have never bought any upgrades from us. If you’ve received a charge from us, it’s for the renewal of an upgrade you bought at least 11 months ago, and for a site in another account.

    If you’re not sure what site the charge is for, please search for the charge at https://wpchrg.wordpress.com/ – enter the transaction details on that form, and it will tell you if that charge exists on our end and what site it’s for.

    You can also use the Contact Support link on that page to contact our billing support team directly for further help with this – to track down the transaction we’ll need to get some additional information from you which we cannot discuss here in the public forums.
