cancel akismet subscription

I cannot find billing history or the location for canceling my akismet subscription for classylookingnerfherder.com. I wanted to cancel the subscription 2 months ago when I took down the website. I follow the ‘manage subscription’ link in my email receipt and I’m lead to a page where the most recent purchase was January 2022. I want a refund for the January 2024 billing.

For reference, I cannot find the billing history when I follow the steps outlined by the Help Bot. Copied here:
To cancel your Akismet subscription and request a refund for the January 2024 billing, please follow these steps:- Visit your site’s dashboard by clicking on the dashboard link.
- Navigate to Upgrades → Purchases.
- In the Purchases section, you’ll find a list of all your active subscriptions on WordPress.com. Look for the Akismet subscription for classylookingnerfherder.com and click on it.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click the Cancel plan/email/add-on button.
- When prompted, click the Cancel button and fill out the brief survey to confirm the cancellation.

Thank you for reaching out. Akismet utilizes WordPress.com user accounts for managing accounts. It appears that you might have bought Akismet under a different account, as the one you’re currently logged into doesn’t show any Akismet purchases in your billing history.

Thank you, I can give that a try, I don’t have another WordPress.com user account and the website this was for is managed under that one account, which is why I’m so confused!
