cancel and move domain name

  hello. Although satisfied, I would like to move my domain and hosting service to anotherr company. Can you please tell me how to cancel and move my domain?

  Hey there!

  If you are referring to heyitscameron.com (registered just a short time ago), you can cancel it for a full refund within 48-hours of purchase. It can take 5-days for the domain name to be released by the registrar since it’s being canceled so soon after registration. Because of the rapid fire registration-cancellation, it gets flagged as possible spam/abuse. Once the registrar realizes this isn’t the case, it releases it for purchase.

  **We can’t guarantee that you will ever be able to purchase heyitscameron.com again once canceled, so please keep this in mind.**

  You have a couple other choices:

  1. You can “point” your domain to your new site. This is done by following these instructions:
     en.support.wordpress.com/domains/change-name-servers/
  2. You can also transfer your domain to your new host after 60-days from your purchase date:
     en.support.wordpress.com/domains/transfer-domain-registration/
