Cancel and Refund

    I am trying to cancel my wordpress premium upgrade but it won’t cancel. I received an email about my theme upgrade and had it canceled but I haven’t seen one for my premium upgrade.

    Thank you, now I am trying to transfer my domain name. I paid to have my domain transfered on another web host but it keeps connecting to my wordpress page. Do I need to give the servers some time to change or is there something els I need to do?

    Hi Tevin,

    It looks like your domain was purchased on November 23rd, 2013. Please note, ICANN (the governing body over domains) places a 60 day lock on all new domain registrations and renewals to prevent fraud. This is a requirement placed on all domain registrars, so there is no way to waive it. Therefore, you wouldn’t be able to transfer the domain registration until January 23rd, 2014. Please note that if changes are made to your contact information, you will have to wait 60 days from that date.

    However, you can point the domain you registered at WordPress.com to another server (hosting service), with these steps:

    Change a Domain’s Name Servers

    You’ll need to obtain the name server values from your current host. You should be able to find them on their support documentation, or contact them and ask for the information. (Name servers may be referred as “nameservers” or “NS records” instead.)
