cancel and refund

    Hello, I bought a plan ($30) and transferred my domain to WordPress ($18). I then decided to cancel the purchase. I was refunded $30 but not the transfer fee? Please can you advise if that is being done or hiw can I get the rest of the refund that was charged to my Paypal..? Please help

    Hi there,

    The registration of a new domain through WordPress.com is irreversible after the first 48 hours of registration. You can cancel a new domain registration from Purchases and receive a full refund within 48 hours of purchase.

    Hi wykidds,

    No problem, I’ve refunded the remaining $18 and there is a copy of the refund receipt in your Billing History:

    https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/billing

    Refunds usually take 5-10 business days to appear on your statement, so you can expect to receive the money around that time.

    Now the transfer to WordPress.com has been cancelled (and therefore never completed), the domain will remain registered with GoDaddy.
