Cancel and Refund of Domain

    Good day,

I would like to cancel my domain and have a refund. I purchased the domain mapping on December 1, 2014. However, when clicking on “cancel and refund” it says: “You will not receive a refund of the cost of this domain as it was purchased more than 30 days ago or there was a problem finding your payment. Please contact support if you have any queries about this cancellation.”

What can I do now? The domain was mapped only 12 days ago.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Refunds are time limited. WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers.
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/refunds/

Domain registrations are refundable within 48 hours after registration. For refunds regarding domain and upgrade renewals, please contact support immediately.

Note: It takes from 1 – 2 weeks for the refund to be received.

    See here:
Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-upgrades/

Dashboard > Store > Billing History

Provided you are logged in under the same username account that purchased the upgrade, and you are within the allowed time frame for refunds, you can cancel and request a refund from your dashboard > Store > My Upgrades. You can also disable auto-renew there.

    Thanks for the response!
Does domain mapping belong to the category “Domain registrations”?

In the link you added, it says that there must be a button saying “Cancel and refund”. It does show this button but as well the hint “You will not receive a refund of the cost of this domain as it was purchased more than 30 days ago or there was a problem finding your payment. Please contact support if you have any queries about this cancellation.” I am not sure now which guideline I am supposed to follow
