Cancel automatic renewal

    I’ve tried last week to cancel the upgrade… I wanted to cancel the free trial but i could not find where to do it. today i received an e-mail that says that i can cancel the automatic renewal until tomorrow if i don’t want to be charged of the cost of the upgrade by going in the dashboard under store > my upgrade, but there is no way to do it from there. please tell me how can i cancel the upgrade because i don’t want this upgrade, i will not use it…

    To disable autorenew, provided you are logged in under the same username account that purchased the upgrades go to > Store > My Upgrades and click the “disable auto-renew” link. That’s also where you cancel.

    I can’t do this for you. You have to act on what follows.

    From Details and Terms:
    You can try any participating upgrade for a 14-day trial period, at no charge.

    You will be asked to provide payment information when starting the trial, but you will not be charged until the 14-day trial period is up. If you cancel before the period is up, you will not be charged at all.

    We will send you an email reminder one day before you will be charged.

    You can confirm your billing history at > Dashboard > Store > Billing History and that’s where the transaction numbers are found.

    You must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard to access Store → My Upgrades and Store → Billing History.

    there is not any kind of link where it’s written: cancel the “automatic renewal” in this page….

    can i send a print of what cakes out if you want… there is just no link to do that…..

    You have to be logged ion under the exact same username account that registered the blog and got the 14 day trial for it. Then you find these links at > Store > My Upgrades
    DNS is correct
    Update Credit Card
    Disable Auto Renew
    Cancellation Info

    yeah, I saw, and do all those things you said, but now they want us to pay the bill that cost for registry domain $26. A domain that we don’t want. we just want to close the account.

    Hi there,

    A different user on your blog set up the trial upgrade, so only that user can manage and cancel the upgrade. That user will need to log in to cancel it from the
    Store > My Upgrades page in the dashboard.

    Staff can also help with that, but we’ll need the user who set up the trial upgrade to contact us to confirm they want to cancel it. They can either reply on this forum thread or contact us directly about that.
