  I do not have any longer a word press page but I am still charged every month.
  But I don’t see where I can cancel this monthly charge.

  There are no monthly payment plans for upgrades at wordpress.COM.

  To address any and all billing issues like this one we can click https://wpchrg.wordpress.com/ and we can also use this form (which works even when the main contact form is closed): http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/?whywasi=charged

  Have you tried using that link?

  Automattic Inc. https://automattic.com/ owns WordPress.com and other products like Akismet and VaultPress, etc. so this could be a charge related to one of them. It’s important to know that each charge is sent to the registered email address for each username account, so if you have more than one username account that could be confusing you. Also, if you have a wordpress.org account and a wordpress.com account that could be confusing you.

  As timethief has explained, there are not any monthly payment options on WordPress.com. All of our upgrades are billed annually. There is not a history of any upgrades ever billed to this user account.
