Cancel current hosting, but keep blog/wordpress site?

My current website uses WordPress and an older ProPhoto template. I will be transferring my domain name from HostPapa to HostGator. I will be cancelling my website hosting through HostPapa, and NOT hosting the current website at all as I will be going a completely different route with my website all together.
My question is this – I have a blog on my current website using WordPress. How do I keep my blog and content without losing it? Right now, I am unsure if I want to keep doing a blog, so I want to keep the content in case I decide to pick it back up. If I decide to pick up my blog again, how do I go about sharing the content?
