Cancel Domain

My store is closing and I want to cancel/delete the domain purchased through WordPress. I turned off auto renew. I also made the blog private as suggested. But the page for actually cancelling the domain itself is not working.
It says:
To cancel a domain you registered with WordPress.com, please log into your account and go to My Upgrades. Click the gear icon next to the domain you wish to cancel, and click Cancel. If it’s been more than 2 days since the purchase date, you will not receive a refund but the domain can still be canceled by contacting support.It has been well over 2 days since purchase so there is no gear icon to easily cancel it, so I clicked the link to contact support but there is no contact form on that page. Just another search bar with the same unhelpful information. Do I just wait for domain to expire on its own? Seems like there should be another way. I’m just getting routed back to the same page with the same search bar and no way to contact support to cancel this.

I can cancel the domain for you.
It can be difficult to get domains back after canceling them, so I just want to confirm you don’t want to use this domain anywhere else.
If you don’t need it at all, I’ll go ahead and cancel it.
If you want to attach it to a different website, let me know and I’ll let you know how to transfer it.
