  Hi, I’d like to cancel my domain http://www.jacquelinebeverley.com so it can be used by another host.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hey there!

  My suggestion is to transfer it to a new host. When you cancel a domain, you put yourself in danger of losing the domain permanently. Sometimes, another person or business snatches up the domain name before the original owner is able.

  You can also “point” your domain to a non-WordPress.com site by changing it’s name servers.

  Here are instructions for both of my suggestions:

  Transfer domain
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/transfer-domain-registration/

  Change domain’s name servers (for use on non WordPress.com site)
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/change-name-servers/

  Of course, if you do decide that you want to cancel the domain permanently, I’m happy to do that. Just let me know, and I’ll send you a proof of domain ownership email, and I can get that ball rolling for you.
