cancel domain

  I registered ‘imandani.com’ with wordpress by using the 14 day trial upgrade. I decided not to use the upgraded account and cancelled the upgrade before the 14 days expired, but I still want to use the domain with another host. How can I use ‘imandani.com’ again?

  Hi there!

  When a domain’s cancelled, it doesn’t get released for registration elsewhere straight away. Instead, it gets sent back to our registrar and it can take some time for them to release the domain again.

  For this reason, we don’t recommend cancelling domain’s that you wish to retain ownership of. Instead, you can move your domain away from WordPress.com using our guide here:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/move-domain/
