Cancel Domain

    Hello Support,

    I registered my domain through WordPress.com and I meant for wordpress.org. It says there is a 60 day wait from when registered in order to transfer. Can I just cancel and re-register via WordPress.org?

    I need to get my website up before 60 days, as it’s for our wedding invitations.

    Hi Raelene,
    I suggest you keep your domain. If you cancel, you may not be able to get it back.

    Once you’ve set up hosting, update the name servers to point to the new host. After 60 days has passed, you can transfer the domain to another registrar if you still wish to do so.
