Cancel domain

    I stated a new blog and, over the weekend, decided to change the blog title and free domain. I was able to change everything except the domain name. There is a lock icon on that and I can’t figure out how to do it even after researching this online and following the instructions.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hey there,

    You can change your blog address by going to My Blogs, and clicking the Change Blog Address link that appears when you hover over the address you want to change:

    https://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/

    Note that you have the option to choose your user name to match the new blog address. If you choose this option, you will not be able to revert back to the original username, and it can affect profile URLs for other services such as Gravatar or IntenseDebate.
