I pulled this information from THIS page.
You can cancel a domain registered through WordPress.com:
Within two days of purchase and receive a full refund. To cancel, please log into your account and go to Purchases. Click Cancel next to the domain you wish to cancel.
After two days from the purchase date, you can remove the domain from Purchases, but not receive a refund.
If your domain is part of a plan, you will have to remove the plan before you can remove the domain. If your intention is to separate the plan and the domain, you’ll want to contact support.
Important note: The cancellation link sent to your the email address in your account is only valid for 24 hours. If you click and see an error, please contact us.

What domain are you trying to cancel? Once we know that we can point you in the right direction.
