Hello,

WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers.
The refund period for Domain Registrations and Renewals is 48 hours. https://en.support.wordpress.com/my-upgrades/#canceling-upgrades
Note: It takes from 1 – 2 weeks for the refund to be received.
Provided you are logged in under the same username account that purchased the upgrade, and you are within the allowed time frame for refunds, you can cancel and request a refund from your dashboard > Store > My Upgrades. You can also disable auto-renew there. http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-upgrades/#canceling-upgrades
See here:
Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades

as well as
Dashboard > Store > Billing History -
I have disabled the automatic renewal thanks. So will the site URL revert back to the free one? And I can still use my blog?

Yes. Yes and yes. Note that I tagged this thread for a Staff follow-up to make sure this is executed properly.

You removed automatic renewal correctly, so you are all set on that front. Once the domain expires, you will want to cancel it, or drop a note here asking us to cancel it for you. That way you won’t see a warning message about your domain being expired. You will never be in any danger of losing your content, but the warning messages are annoying if you have no intention of renewing.
Alternatively, I can cancel the domain for you right now and you won’t have to worry about it.
Let me know which way you want to go and I’l be happy to help.
