Cancel domain johnfrydot.net

    Last night, working on behalf of a client, I created a domain via blog creating. The domain name has an error in it due to a typo: johnfrydot.net should have been johnfry.net. I need help cancelling the wrong domain & securing the correct one. The confirming email will have been sent to John’s address; he will eventually forward it to me but probably not within the cancellation period. Your help will be appreciated.

    Hi there,

    It actually looks like the domain name itself was registered correctly (johnfry.net). What happened is that our system created the blog name johnfrydotnet.wordpress.com so that you would have a place to log in and manage the blog.

    No visitor to your site will ever see the “johnfrydotnet” part as they will always be directed to and will interact with the johnfry.net part. Only you will see the johnfrydotnet.wordpress.com when you log in to manage your site!
