cancel domain mapping

I am an administrator on the site, but not the primary admin. A ‘hostile’ takeover of the site, with a password change to the site and the linked email address
prevent me from removing my credit card info from the auto renew of the domain mapping.
The person holding the admin password that would allow this will not help.
How do I get my personal credit card info off?
    Thank you

  • Hi lindajerlam, I don’t see any upgrades associated with your account, but if you have a receipt from us, please go ahead and reply to that and explain the situation. Include the transaction ID in the communication (do not post it here) and we’ll help you iron things out. Cheers!

The site in question is not my wordpress.com site, it is another one which I’d rather not name on the internet. As I said I WAS the senior administrator but a hostile takeover of the volunteer organization makes it impossible for me to get to the settings to remove my credit card from the auto-renew of the domain mapping.

All the records of the WordPress.com transactions are stored on the associated email account to which I no longer have access.

  • When you paid with a credit card, did you get a receipt?

  • I understand now, the email itself was taken over as well. If you’ll contact your credit card company, you can get the transaction ID and we can use that to verify your ownership:

Also, you didn’t mention which site is affected, and since it’s not on this account I can’t look it up. I can understand not wanting some of those details public, so I’ll contact you via email. Best.
