Cancel Domain Name

    Hello, I was wondering if is possible to cancel my domain that was bought a few days ago, so i wont have to wait the 60 days and transfer it to my other hosting site, as instead I will just purchase it again from there.

    While I can assist you with canceling your domain, in this case I would caution you against it, as there is no guarantee that you will be able to purchase it again once it is cancelled. Domains that are cancelled or expired are not released immediately, may be sold at a private auction before being released, a process that may last as long or longer than the 60 day lock itself. If your domain is picked up during this period, you may lose it forever.

    For some background, the 60 day lock is a guideline set by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) and it’s standard practice for ICANN-accredited registrars. Unfortunately, it is not within our control to lift this 60 day lock for any reason.
