  How do I recover a domain name that I just deleted??

  It was a custom domain name.

  Okay, so what we’ll need to do is send you a manual payment request so that you can repurchase it. Once that is done, we can point you to directions on how to use a domain registered with WordPress.com while hosting a site elsewhere.

  You are sure that you are checking the correct inbox? We are using the email address you list your account under here: https://wordpress.com/me/account/

  If that is an older address you no longer have access to please update it (to a current address) under your account settings, then let us know here. Once we see the email address updated on this end we can send out a second invoice to the address you have set for your account.

  Yes – that’s the correct e-mail address but I’m still not seeing anything in my inbox or spam folder. Just to confirm, it’s “sen” not “son”.

  Thanks for the update! However, it looks like we were too late to recover the domain from our end. :(

  Since we were unsuccessful, I went ahead and refunded you the fee you paid back to your bank account.

  I just checked and the domain isn’t yet showing up for purchase at the domain registry, so you will need to keep checking where you would register a domain frequently over the next week or so to make sure you can repurchase it before someone else would. Unfortunately there’s no way to be notified when a domain is available for purchase again, so you’ll just need to keep checking.

  Since the domain has been removed from the registry, you should be able to register it very soon with your new host.
