cancel domain pointing

    Hello,

    have my own own domain name (www.alexwilk.com) and have recently bought hosting from godaddy.com

    previously my domain name pointed to my wordpress.com site (www.alexwilk.wordpress.com)

    I would like to stop this now as I have built a new website to be hosted by goDaddy and I would like this to be under http://www.alexwilk.com

    I have removed the domain from ‘store >> domains’ in the WordPress dashboard. I have also removed the WordPress nameservers from goDaddy, however it still seems to be pointing to the old WordPress site…

    how can I change this?

    Hi Alex,

    After looking into your domain: alexwilk.com, I found that it is no longer pointing to your WordPress.com site. As seen in the link below, your domain is not registered through us and it is not pointing to WordPress.com nameservers:

    http://whois.net/whois/alexwilk.com

    If you find that it is, can you please try clearing out your cache and cookies using the guide below?
