cancel domain transfers

I just initiated domain transfers from Google to WordPress and I need to cancel them. I didn’t realize that WordPress charges for wildcard email forwarding.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I have a domain registered with WordPress and I want to set up email forwarding. How do I set up a wildcard address, so that (email visible only to moderators and staff) gets forwarded to the email address I want?

  • Hi @robfrank, you should have an email showing the transfer was initiated, and it should have a link that will allow you to cancel the transfer if needed. Are you able to find that?

Clarifying so I can share this feedback with the right team, do you mean you’d like to forward (email visible only to moderators and staff) to another address? And, would you be using our DNS or another provider for that?

  • @robfrank I just found your other request and merged it into this thread. Thanks for the further details on that.

Usually email forwarding is managed by whatever MX you’re using; was that free with your previous provider? If so, would you be okay just updating the MX settings here (or with another DNS)?

    I figured a work-around with a third party. Thanks!
