Cancel forwarding of my "about" page and build one in WP

    I have been forwarding my “about” page to my other website. Now I want to stop forwarding and create a “native” about page. How do I do that? (I’m planning to build other pages and then map my personal domain to my wordpress site, but want to build the pages in WP first – I assume that is the right way to proceed.)
