  Hi Susie

  I would be glad to help. It looks like you want to delete your site.

  To delete your site, you first need to remove any upgrades that you have enabled. These include, but are not limited to: Premium or Business Plan, Custom Domain, Domain Mapping, Premium Theme.
  Then you visit your sites setting page. My Site > Settings
  Scroll down and select Delete your site permanently
  You will then be given the option to export your sites content if you wish. More detailed information on deleting your site can be found here.

  @susie6804 your new site has no content to delete or export. I usually recommend that people just set their site to private (My Site>Settings) as there is always a chance that you have a change of heart and find a use for the site/blog in the future. If you do decide to delete the site and also want to cancel your WordPress.com account then you can disable your account details following the instructions found in this link: https://en.support.wordpress.com/deleting-accounts/
