I have an account under (email visible only to moderators and staff) – I need to cancel the account before it charges me $99.00 tomorrow.
Can you please cancel the account!

Provided you are logged in under the same username account that purchased the upgrades, you ought to be able to disable auto-renew in your dashboard > Store > My Upgrades
WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/cancel-domain/ and Guided Transfers.

Note: It takes from 1 – 2 weeks for the refund to be received. -

Since this is a public forum, please refrain from sharing your account password as this may lead to even bigger headaches for you.
I checked the email address you provided and was not able to find an account associated with it. I was, however, able to find the subscription in a different account under your name. Would you like help in gaining back access to it? Unfortunately, we do not allow deleting of accounts.

Additionally, the subscription doesn’t appear to be in auto-renew, so there’s nothing to worry about getting charged. I went ahead and filled out an Account Recovery request in your name and someone from our team should be in touch with you shortly to discuss the details.
