Cancel my account during month 1

    Hi, I tried using WordPress and it’s not the right fit for the site I am making at the moment. I would like to cancel my subscription within the first week or subscribing. I am in the free trial period. How can I cancel?

    Hi there,

    Are you looking to cancel/delete your account or just your site? Two very different things :-)

    Site:
    This one will walk you through deleting your site. Just remember, deleting a site is permanent and you will never be able to re-use that WordPress.com address.

    Account:
    This support page will walk you through the process of deleting all information associated with your account. This will make it so you cannot access the account in the future as WordPress.com accounts cannot be fully deleted.

    I know you said you are just in a trial period, but just in case there were any purchases, here is where you can find information on refunds as well: https://en.support.wordpress.com/refunds/

    Hi there,

    You have never bought any upgrades from us and we don’t even have payment information from you on file in our system, so there is nothing to cancel.
