I want to cancel my WordPress acct. My son has an account and every time I try to leave a comment on his blog my log in details come up ? I would rather cancel my acct. as I want to leave comments on his blog. how do I cancel or how do I get around my log in details coming up

The details like email address etc while commenting will only come up when you are logged in to your WordPress.COM account. It is only visible to you not everyone. To confirm this you can check the page where you are trying leave a comment using the private/incognito mode of your browser.re: Deleting/Cancelling acccounts
WordPress.COM accounts cannot be deleted permanently once created.But if you still wish to deactivate your account and leave WordPress, you can follow the instructions given here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/deleting-accounts/
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Even if you deactivate your account your username is not removed from the database, so that it’s not available to any other users when they are registering for a new account. This is done to keep you from being impersonated by anyone else.Hope these help. 🙂
