@ryrhino00, it was appropriate to modlook in this case, but it would have been much better if you at least asked the OP for some basic information first, like what upgrade, on what site, they’re trying to cancel, and to provide them with the instructions how to cancel an upgrade themselves.
From the line you quoted, “feel free to answer,” meaning still try to help. Don’t just tag if there’s potentially something you can do to help the user get closer to a solution. If you ask someone to confirm their site, for example, they could have confirmed that by the time we get to the thread, which would allow us to help them more quickly. But if you just modlook without asking for that info, we have to go back and forth first to confirm that before we’re able to help.
