  I’m trying to cancel a recent renewal transaction and would like my money back.

  Hi!

  Have you tried requesting a refund on the Manage My Purchases page? https://wordpress.com/me/purchases

  Purchases made on WordPress.com can be canceled and refunded during the refund period:

  Domain registrations can be canceled within 48 hours of registration.
  Plans and other purchases can be canceled within 30 days of purchasing.

  Hi there,

  We offer a full refund on all upgrade plans for 30 days, and for domains for 48 hours.

  However, it appears you have instead filed a dispute against us with your bank, thereby accusing us of fraud. As a result your last renewal payment has been frozen and we are not able to refund it. Additionally, your domain has been disabled and a chargeback fee has been added to your site. You won’t be able to post again on your site until you pay this fee.

  Chargebacks & Disputes

  If you cancel the dispute with your bank we might still be able to refund you, but otherwise you will need to wait for your bank to complete the dispute process on their end, in which case it can take several months before the payment will be returned to you.

  Also note that cancelling your domain means you give up ownership of it, and we can’t guarantee that you’ll be able to use that domain again in future.
