  How in the world do I delete this?

  Hi,

  WordPress.com accounts cannot be deleted. If you wish to leave WordPress.com, you can just leave your account inactive.

  If you just want to delete your blog, go to Tools -> Delete Blog in your Dashboard. If you delete a blog you will not be able to get it back and no one else will be able to use that blog address.
