    I tried all ways to cancel or modify the the phrase written on google page when you research the site: My WordPress – Just another WordPress site

    I tried from setting and from the theme but nothing, the phrase keep to be there, please help.

    Site: (email visible only to moderators and staff).
    WP.com: Unknown
    Jetpack: Unknown
    Correct account: Unknown

    Hi there,

    You probably are seeing the old site title and tagline because Google hasn’t crawled your site yet. Since you’ve changed them in settings > general setting, once your website is crawled any updates you’ve made will be seen on Google. Sometimes it can take a few days for Google to crawl your site.

    You can also Ask Google to recrawl your site

    Hello there,

    It looks like this is a self-hosted site, so our support is limited, but we’ll do our best to point you in the right direction.

    Can you tell me when this change was made? The reason being is that it can take up to 2-4 weeks for Google to crawl and index a site.

    Hello,

    thanks for helping me.

    The change was made yesterday 24.08.21, I did the change on the setting page and on the Astra theme settings.

    The hosting portal is Siteground.

    I though the change was immediately… I will check what happen in few days.

    There is no way to speed up that by manually changes?

    Again, we can only help with sites hosted here at WordPress.com.

    As we said earlier, any changes you make to your site will show up on your site right away. However, Google will only reindex your site periodically – that means any changes you make won’t show up in Google search results until they reindex your site which could be anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months (or more).

    You may want to search to see if there’s a way you can manually request Google to reindex your site.

    I think it’s worth trying @gracekissi’s advice, and ask Google to recrawl your site (using this link: https://developers.google.com/search/docs/advanced/crawling/ask-google-to-recrawl).
