Cancel premium domain?
-
I changed the name of my blog, and the premium domain that I had before (www.fullgutrenovation.com) no longer matches my blog name (Rendered by Abbey). The WordPress URL http://www.renderedbyabbey.wordpress.com will suffice for now. Visitors to my blog have let me know that they were unable to access the blog itself, but could still access the various pages I had created. If I cancel my premium domain, will all previous posts be lost?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi Abbey,
If I cancel my premium domain, will all previous posts be lost?
No if you cancel your domain, your site (all posts, pages, etc) will still be available at:
renderedbyabbey.wordpress.com
Nothing will change except for the URL at which you find your site.
I understand you would like to cancel your custom domain: fullgutrenovation.com, but please note that this is different from other upgrades and is stated during the purchase process.
Canceling a domain at this time means you completely give up ownership of the domain. There is no guarantee the domain will become available to re-register after cancellation.
You are welcome to keep your domain with us and update the nameservers to point to another hosting provider by following this guide:
After 60 days from the date of purchase or registrant contact information change, you may also transfer your domain to another registrar by following this guide:
If you would like to completely cancel your ownership of the domain name, please reply to confirm.

With the understanding that all of my site (all posts, pages, etc) will still be available at:
renderedbyabbey.wordpress.com
I wish to cancel my domain: http://www.fullgutrenovation.com
Thank you.
